January 18, 2002 - January 20, 2023
Stephen James Stephens "James" a beloved father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend passed away from this life on Friday, January 20, 2023, at the age of 21.
James was born January 18, 2002, in Beckley, WV. He is survived by his parents Dawn Denise Patrick Lambert, and Michael Wayne Stephens, his son Mazarin Michael James Stephens, his brother Dalton Michael Calacino and daughter McKinley Calacino, and sister Tayler Dawn Stephens, grandparents Paul and Leslie Patrick and great-grandmother Judith Cullop, his uncles Michael Patrick, Brian Wheeler and Glen Prater Jr., God grandparents Brenda and Paul Kincaid, along with many more family and friends.
James was preceded in death by grandparents James R. Cullop and Brenda and Kenneth "Cherokee" Wheeler.
James enjoyed everything outdoors from hunting, fishing and just hanging out. In middle school James was an avid football player #33 & #43 and wrestled for Milton Middle School, ranking third place heavy weight in the tri-state. He graduated High School certified in auto mechanics and welding at the age of sixteen with a 98.9 average. He loved working on cars and motorcycles, and his passion was riding his street bike.
A service will take place for James on Monday, January 30th, 2023, at 2pm at Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center 1200 Harper Road, Beckley, WV 25801. Friends may visit one hour prior.
