Steve Columbus Lewis 66 of Beckley, WV, passed from this life on Monday August 12,

2019 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

Steve was born January 12, 1953 and was the eldest son of the late Christopher

Columbus Lewis and Anna Lorene Lovitt Lewis.

Steve was the eldest of 10 children. He was preceded in death by his sister Alma

Chestine Lewis Gallaway and a brother Gary Eugene Lewis.

Surviving siblings include, Polly Ann Lewis Brown, Roseanna Lewis Gilland, Loretta

Lewis Goodpaster, Jerry Alan Lewis, Nanny Kay Lewis Liapis, Sarah Jane Lewis

Robertson and Christopher Columbus Lewis Jr.

Steve lived most of his life residing in Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia, operating

his own business as an independent tree trimming/removal service.

Steve was a man well known for his kind, generous spirit and eagerness to help those

in need. Steve was a Christian and was known by those close to him as a man

dedicated to serving his God and fellow man to the best of his ability.  He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by five children, Dawn Anna Faye Lewis of Los Angeles CA., Stevie

Columbus Lewis Jr. of Forest Grove OR., Brian Michael Eugene Lewis of Forest Grove,

OR., Jacob Lee Lewis of Fairmont, WV and Elizabeth Ashley Sue Lewis Stewart of

Pemberton, WV.

Ten Grand Children, Noah Lewis, Caleb Lewis, Ezekiel Lewis, Noelle Lewis, Lexus Lewis,

Maliah Lewis, Elijah Stewart, Arielle Stewart, Ezekiel Stewart And Xander Lewis.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Northgate

Baptist Church in Beckley.

The family will receive friends at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Gethsemane

Memorial Gardens on Pea Ridge Rd. in Oak Hill.
