Tammie Jane Nunez was born on April 6, 1979 in Beckley, WV to Michael and Mary McMillion. She went to be with our Lord unexpectedly on February 13th, 2025 in Beckley, WV at the young age of 45.

Tammie is preceded in death by her daughter Sada Nunez, grandmother Elizabeth Bonds, and her sister Vicky Lynn Mitchem.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters Jessica Gardner and her husband Dylan of Sophia, Siera Nunez of MN, and Emma Nunez of MN; grandchildren Elijah Gardner and Isabella Gardner; sister Lenorra McMillion of NC; parents Mary Claypool and her husband Michael of Sophia, and Michael McMillion and his wife Lisa of NC; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Tammie was a loving grandmother and her grandchildren were her passions. Tammie was a fun loving person who enjoyed talking with others and having a good time.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 11 am - 1 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Melton Mortuary. A celebration of Tammie's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Denny Hughes officiating. Cremation will follow services at a later time.
