Tammy Lyn (Gwilliams) Norwood Obituary

Tammy Lyn Norwood, age 63, of Beckley, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2026 after a long battle with illness.

Tammy was born May 3, 1962 in Marysville, Ohio, a daughter of Waldo and Carol Sue Gwilliams.

Tammy loved to spend her time at the beach. Her favorites to be at were Virginia Beach and Myrtle. There was no place like it for her. Tammy also loved crafting. She devoted most of her time to knitting. Tammy was always in the middle of knitting a new piece for her and her family to enjoy.

Tammy was a family woman. She loved the time she got to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tammy built wonderful memories with them that they will be able to hold on to.

Tammy is preceded in death by her parents, Waldo and Carol Gwilliams; daughter, Patsy Lyn Jones; and sweet fur baby, Sassy.

Those left to cherish Tammy's memory are her sons, John (Erica) Jones, Joseph (Dottie) Jones, and Michael Jones; long-time boyfriend, Mark Baldwin; sisters, Angie King and Susie Bobo; brother, Timothy Gwilliams; and many other family and friends who will miss her.
