Tammy Webster Obituary

Tammy Darlene Webster of Shady Spring, WV, went to be with the Lord on March 31st, 2021, after losing her long battle with cancer at the age of 58.
She was born August 6, 1962, in Beckley, WV. She was the daughter of Archie Webster, Jr., and Erma J. Webster-Vest.
She was preceded in death by her father Archie Webster, Jr., and stepfather Phillip Vest, brother Bobby Webster, who recently passed away, and her fiancé Dave Lawsick and two grandmothers Mary Bell and Mildred Ferguson-Webster.
Tammy was a homemaker and a loving mother of four children and a very strong believer in Jesus Christ. She enjoyed fishing, camping, playing horseshoes and loved being outdoors admiring wildlife and nature, but most of all she loved being with her family and friends.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her mother Erma Vest of Cool Ridge, WV; son James Goff of Irish Mt, WV; three daughters Melissa Goff and Dennis Farley of Ellison Ridge, WV, Vanessa Goff of Charleston, WV, Beth Goff of Charleston, WV; three brothers Tommy Webster and wife Dana of Cool Ridge, Kevin Webster and wife Mitzi of White Hall, MD, Chris Webster and Sharon Bailey of Ghent, WV; five sisters, Pamela Gail and husband Brian Gill of Ghent, WV, Lori Vest of Cool Ridge, WV, Cindy Webster of Baltimore, MD, Sherri Webster of Oceana, WV, and Kimberly and husband Tommy Lovell of Sophia, WV, and grandchild Rebecca Foley and an extended family of nieces and nephews who love her dearly, Amanda Coleman, Travis Morton, Savannah Coleman, Cole Simmons, Phillip Young, Kathy Shrewsbury, Katlynn Webster, Nick Webster, and special cousins and friends. She was loved by so many and will be sadly missed by her family, relatives, and friends who will cherish her memories.
A loving mother, wonderful sister, and loving friend, you will be missed but now we know you are an angel from up above; when we look in the sky it brings tears to our eyes, not because we're sad because we see you flying free, no more pain, you earned your angel wings; now you can look down at us and give us all the blessings that we need. You will be so sadly missed by family and friends. Rest in peace until we meet again!
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Private online condolences and other expressions of sympathy may be directed to the family via guestbook at www.meltonortuary.com
The family would like to thank her hospice nurses and staff from Hospice of Southern WV.
