Terry Jay Noel, 73, passed away on August 07, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by family. Born in Beckley, WV, on May 20, 1951, he was the son of the late Benjamin Harrison and Virginia Ruth Meador Noel.
Mr. Noel had a long career in real estate, restaurant management, and business. For over a decade, he has worked as the head of real estate and acquisition for Solis Group, a corporation specializing in Mexican cuisine. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in WV, Pines Country Club in Morgantown, WV and a former member of the Black Knight Country Club in Beckley, WV. Mr. Noel is known for his charismatic but reserved character, always having a quippy saying or humorous remark. He was a hard working man, that loved painting, antiquing, playing guitar, golfing and listening to classic rock. He met the love of his life and surviving spouse of 29 years, Alice Lynn Payne Noel, in Beckley, WV.
Left to cherish his memories, in addition to his wife, are his daughters, Katelyn Mae Singleton (Hunter) of Columbia, SC and Tara Ann Noel- Vass (Charles) of Bolt, WV; son, Benjamin 'BJ' Joseph Noel (Neeko) of Beckley, WV; brother, Douglas 'Doug' F. Noel (Janet) of Grandview, WV; sister, Rhonda Noel Myler of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Maebry Eloise Singleton of Columbia, SC, Leela Rayann Vass of Bolt, WV, Derek Christopher Drafton of Beckley, WV, Jasmine Nicole Noel of Beckley, WV, Ah'mani Benjamin Noel of Beckley, WV, Zyan Alexes Fitzwilliams of Beckley, WV, Zane AlexZander Fitzwilliams of Beckley, WV and Zhuri Alexxi Hairston of Beckley, WV.
Mr. Noel was predeceased by his daughter, Angela Dawn Noel.


A celebration of Mr. Noel's life will be held on Saturday August 24th 2024 in the Melton Mortuary Chapel, Beckley, West Virginia from 2-4pm.
