Thomas Trail Obituary
Thomas "Tommy" Lee Trail, Jr. was born on February 14th, 1972 in Beckley, West Virginia to his parents Thomas and Sherry (Taylor) Trail, Sr. He passed away on April 6th, 2022 in Beckley, West Virginia at the age of 50.
Tommy is preceded in death by mothers Sherry Rae Trail and Sandy Whitt Trail; paternal grandparents Ted and Wyvone Trail; and maternal grandparents Ray and Naomi Taylor.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Nathan Trail and his mother, Lora McDaniel; father Thomas Trail, Sr.; sisters Sherri (William) Lynn Saunders and Robin Fisher; brother Larry (Shellie) Trail; nieces Jessica Saunders, Katie and Jenna Trail; nephews Grant and Adam Weddle, Caleb and EJ Fisher, and Tucker Trail; several aunts, uncles, and cousins including his special aunt Sue (Taylor) Farley; and many friends who will miss him dearly. He also leaves behind his best friend of decades, Kevin Way and his loving pet companions including Clarice, Goldie, Lilly, and Minnie Mae.
Tommy's giving spirit was shown both in his employment in social work and his relationships with his friends and family. He cared deeply and his outgoing spirit could lift anyone up.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Melton Mortuary to celebrate Tommy's life. Pastor David Bush will be officiating. Friends are welcome to visit with the family from 11 am - Noon. Words of comfort and condolences may be offered to the family by visiting www.meltonmortuary.com
