Mr. Timothy Ray Smith of Mac Arthur West Virginia passed away on Friday, February 21st, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 29th, 1960 he was the son of the late James "Joe", and Myrtle Smith of Shady Spring West Virginia.

In addition to his parents Tim is preceded in death, by his brother James Smith, and son Matt Smith.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of thirty five years April Smith, sons Joseph (Jennifer) and Justin Smith both of Mac Arthur, WV, daughter Courtney Smith (Trey), grandchildren Zack, Mason, Addison, and Peyton, sisters Becky Nierman, and Robin Hall, brother Mark Smith, and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who will all miss Tim dearly.

Timothy was a carpenter by trade always taking pride in the projects that he could create with his two hands. He was a true outdoorsman, always enjoying the beauty in God's creation. He was a self proclaimed pit-master always smoking, and grilling meats to perfection to feed his family. He bled blue and gold for his beloved West Virginia Mountaineers whether win or loss. He loved spending time with his family always doting on his beloved grandkids. His loss will be deeply felt.
