Vicky Lea 'Bunny' Daniel, age 69, of Beckley, West Virginia, and went to be with her Lord and Saviour Sunday, July 28, 2024.
Bunny was born November 17, 1954 in Beckley, WV to L. Harold Wood and Violet (Keaton) Wood of Lester. Bunny married the love of her life, Billy Daniel on September 16, 1972 in Stanaford, WV. Together they built their log cabin in the woods and made it a home for 51 years in Maple Meadow.
She is survived by her loving husband, Billy Daniel, two daughters Sarah (Daniel) Macri, husband Gregory Macri of Chesapeake, OH and Shannon (Daniel) White, husband Jerry White and grandson Jeremiah White of Daniels, WV. Three siblings: sister Angie (Wood) Wysong, sons TJ and Isiah. Brothers Curtis Wood and Marty Wood, wife Lisa Wood all of Lester, WV. Plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bunny is preceeded in death by her parents Harold and Violet Wood and one sister Jackie (Wood) Asbury.
Bunny loved her family, she loved crafting and cooking but most importantly, she loved teaching others about Jesus and helping them grow stronger in their faith and in their walk with Him.
A funeral service will take place for Bunny on Friday August 2, 2024 at 12:00 Noon in the Lester First Church of God sanctuary with Pastor Luke Hodges, and Pastor Dale Birchfield officiating. The family will accept friends beginning at 10:00am. Burial will follow in the Wood Family Cemetery at Lester.
