Vicky Lynn Mitchem was born on September 26, 1976 in Beckley, WV to Michael and Mary McMillion. She went home to be with our Lord on February 1, 2025 in Charleston, WV at the young age of 48.

Vicky is preceded in death by her grandmother Elizabeth Bonds and her father-in-law Kent Sullivan.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 27 years, Jeremy Mitchem; sons Lil Jeremy Mitchem and his wife Samantha and Justin Mitchem and his wife Becca; daughter Emily Mitchem; grandchildren Elizabeth, Connor and Axle Mitchem; sisters Tammie Nunez and Lenorra McMillion; multiple nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Vicky was a loving mother who adored her family and all of her grandchildren. She was loved by anyone who was blessed to know her. She was a woman of faith and would do anything to help anyone that she could. She enjoyed cooking for her family, crafting with her grandchildren and reading her Bible.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 11 am - 1 pm on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Melton Mortuary. A celebration of Vicky's life will begin at 1 pm with Tommy Blake officiating. Entombment will follow services at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers.
