Virginia (Jenny) Rose Hinkle, 85 of Beckley, passed away on Sunday, October 19,
2025, at home. She was born on April 25, 1940, in Stanaford, WV.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Eugene Cox, her mother Mary Parisi
Cox, and her husband Ernest William Hinkle, Jr.

Jenny is survived by her children and grandchildren. Those left to cherish her
memory include her son Robert Allen Hinkle and wife Bernadette of Mossey, WV; a
daughter Sherry Lynn Hinkle Gregg and companion Billy McEachern of Mabscott, WV; a
grandson Jason Robert Gregg and companion Tricia Jordan, of Charlotte, NC; a grandson
Adam Michael Gregg of Beckley, WV; two cousins, Janice Maynard and Shelby Warden both
of Beckley, WV; one cousin Betty Fisher from Fulshear, TX; and many friends and neighbors.

Her greatest loves in the world were her two grandsons, Jason Robert Gregg and
Adam Michael Gregg.

Jenny was a 1958 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. Afterwards she worked
at J.C. Murphy's until she became a homemaker, raising her two children. She loved going
shopping and spending time with her family going out to eat. In her younger years she loved
to go bowling at Bowl Wick and bowling in many different leagues.

She greatly enjoyed being a member of the Mabscott Grade School Home Room Mothers and was a member of the Band Boosters for both Park Junior High School and Woodrow Wilson High School.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday October 25, 2025, when we will honor the life of Jenny with a Service of Remembrance at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Pastor William LeGrand will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with family from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Robert Hinkle, Jason Gregg, Thomas Cox, John Maynard, Devin
Grose, and James LeGrand.
