Virginia Moran Obituary
Virginia B. "Jenny" Moran was born on November 20th, 1926 in Jenkinjones, WV to her parents James and Mae (Cunningham) Helmondollar. She gained her Heavenly wings on Monday, May 23rd, 2022 in Beckley, WV at the age of 95.
Jenny is preceded in death by her parents James and Mae; 1 sister; and 5 brothers.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two children James "Jim" Moran and Diana L. Moran; grandchildren Brian (Michelle) Moran, Jason Moran, and Aaron Matics; 8 great-grandchildren; her best canine best friend, Zoe; and many extended family and friends who will miss her.
Jenny was a simple woman who loved the Lord. She attended MacArthur Church of God in her younger years and then later on, Sophia Church of God.
Jenny felt most at ease when she was able to work in her yard mowing and weed eating.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center in the Chapel beginning at 12:00 Noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to St. Jude in memory of Jenny. Words of comfort and condolences may be offered to the family by visiting www.meltonmortuary.com
