Obituary
Virginia Marie Nary, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away on August 19th, 2023 following a short illness. Born on September 28th, 1945, a daughter of the late Oakley, and Ollie Cole of Odd, WV. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband John O. Nary, brothers J.K. Cole, and Roy Cole, sisters Peggy Powell, Joyce Lowe, and Roseanna Lowe.
Those left behind to forever hold and cherish her memory are her son Jerry Connor Jr, sister Jeanette Hatcher, grandson Jerry Connor III, granddaughters Ashley and Emily McNeal, great grandchildren Gavin, Thea, and Sage, her loving furbaby Sweetie, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who will all miss Virginia dearly.
Virginia was a very intelligent woman and bookworm, always enjoying new books, and periodicals, she always enjoyed spoiling all of her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. At Christmas time she would always amaze her family by the seemingly endless array of treats, cookies, candies, and other sweets that she lovingly packed into christmas trays for all of her family and friends.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center in accordance with Virginia's wishes. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Words of comfort and condolences may be offered to the family by visiting her tribute page at www.meltonmortuary.com.
