Wanda Roseann Bailey, age 67, of Shady Spring, West Virginia, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 in Charleston, West Virginia.
Wanda was born July 14, 1956 in Pemberton, West Virginia, a daughter of Truman and Rosie (Rakes) Bailey. Wanda was raised in Pemberton and attended Woodrow Wilson High School. She enjoyed working with flowers and her true passion was with her pets. She loved to watch daily sunsets and taking care of her horses.
Wanda was a real person who never beat around the bush and her friends and family loved her for that. She loved her family and enjoyed every minute with her grandkids.
Wanda will forever be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her daughters Dolly and Erica Bailey; sister Loretta Smallwood; and her brother William Bailey.
Wanda is survived by her daughter Jessica Rae Bailey of Beckley, grandchildren Tristan, Autumn and Skyler Bailey all of beckley; brother Danny (Frankie) Bailey; sister Freda Perdue; niece Pam Bailey; her life long friend, Linda Torres; her beloved fur-babies Gabby and Nosey; her best friend, Shelia Mae rakes and cousin
and many extended family and friends who will miss her.
