It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of William "Bill" Bunnell I, age 73, on March 14, 2025 at The Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. He was the son of the late Earl M. and Anna M. (Hoalcraft) Bunnell.


Bill was a dedicated car salesman operating several car lots in the Clarksburg area. He was also a member of the Clarksburg Eagles #2353 for many years. He lived in the Clarksburg area his entire life until health ailments caused him to move in with his daughter, Holly Bunnell (Tina Burnside) in Scarbro, WV.


Preceding him in death are his parents, his brother, Marshall Bunnell Sr., his son, Roger Bunnell, and his grandson, Shawn Bunnell.


Those left to cherish the wonderful memories including his daughter, Holly, are his children, Venus Bunnell of Kimberly, WV, Amber Bunnell-Ellis(Billy) of Palm Springs, FL, Jodie Whaley of Clarksburg, WV, William "Billy" Bunnell II(Tiffany) of Clarksburg, WV, Stephen Bunnell of North View, WV and Bonnie Gill of Norfolk, VA, many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren ( too many to list), several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and other family members that will truly miss him and his sense of humor.


As per his wishes he was cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sardis Cemetery on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 1pm with a Remembrance Celebration at The Sardis Community Center following the Celebration of Life.
