William David "Billy" Smithey passed away on November 10th, 2023 at the young age of 56. He was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on December 14th, 1966 to Jack and Ruth Smithey.
Billy was a professional painter and he loved helping others. He was a special person and had a loving golden heart.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jack and his sister Linda.
He will be sadly missed by his fiance and the love of his life, Debra Smith, son Billy Smithey, sisters Donna and Lisa, brother Jimmy and his future in laws, Daymon and Drema Sweeney, that loved him like a son. He also leaves behind his special nephew James, who thought of him like a dad and also several nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebration of Billy's life will be held at a later date at the Grace Chapel Church, 918 Dry Hill Rd., Beckley, WV 25801. Please check back for updated services.
